“In the South of the South of the saints”, in the cruel summer, the lazy hours oppressed by the heatwave tear the space-time opening passages to the manifestation (epiphany) of subtle and predatory forces.
"Controra" is the hottest hours of the summer afternoon, feared by old, wise and foolish people.
During this time the meridian demon manifests itself awaiting for its victims, drawing them into the coils of a voluptuous idleness and then suffocates them in the ill of living, in sloth, in a fixity similar to death.
NCT333's new work is an incursion through the liminal dimension. Electronic ambient textures, industrial sounds and downtempo rhythms shape the inner space of an endless spiritual war; for a new overcoming, towards another sunset.

Nel sud del sud dei santi, nella crudele estate, le ore lente della canicola lacerano lo spazio-tempo aprendo varchi per la manifestazione di forze sottili, predatorie. La “controra” è quel tempo, prima della hybris moderna, temuto da vecchi, saggi e folli, dove il demone meridiano, nemico degli asceti del deserto, nascosto tra le pieghe della luce attende le sue vittime, le attira nelle spire di un voluttuoso ozio e poi le soffoca nel male di vivere, nell'accidia, in una fissità che è morte.
Nel nuovo lavoro di NCT333 si fa incursione, attraverso i varchi favoriti da queste ore terribili, verso la dimensione liminale, per scovare il nemico; portandosi là dove non più ci si difende, ma si attacca. Trame di ambient elettronico, sonorità industrial e ritmi downtempo strutturano lo spazio interiore per l'ennesimo atto della perenne guerra spirituale; per un nuovo superamento, verso un altro tramonto.
