Orbo, fluttua nel nulla.
Non ha più importanza il Destino:
quando il tuo lume l'oblio sol culla
e bacia il declino.
Là dove ardeva un baglior rubino,
or v’è una buia grotta:
un antro tetro, che la notte alloggia.
E il cuor più non lotta.
Solingo vaga, perduta la rotta,
scheletro nello spirto e nella foggia.
Un silenzio eterno lo circonda,
e un'oscurità rigida e profonda.

Dead planet’s orbits

Bilnd, it fluctuates into the void.
Destiny has no more relevance:
when your light cradles only oblivion
and decline it kisses.
There where a ruby glare was flaring,
now there is a dark cave:
a gloomy hole, that shelters the night.
And heart does not fight anymore.
Alone it wanders, gone off-track,
skeleton in soul and in his sembiance.
An eternal silence surrounds it,
and it lies in a stiff and deep darkness.
